Tory Burch Foundation

My first contact with the Tory Burch Foundation was as a freelance editor for their Live 2019 Embrace Ambition Summit.

After being a proactive problem solver for them during that complicated live production, they called me and Cave76 Productions back in 2020 to produce a pandemic special announcement video for their Fellowship program. We did 2 of those videos in 2020 and 2021, and it was an awesome experiment in how to bring people together.

In 2022 I also produced and coordinated the post-production element of their Live 2022 Embrace Ambition Summit, which involved 5 editors working live to deliver 120+ deliverables like sizzles and social cutdowns, which needed to be trimmed, branded, captioned and delivered on the same day.
There was no summit in 2023, or 2024 which is a shame, since they were amazing events. But they still called us for small post-production projects, which we were always happy to facilitate.

They are a great and super humane marketing team, and I always looked forward to their calls.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

2021 fellows announcement

After the success of the 2020 announcement (below), the TBF team decided to keep the same format, and we simply concerned ourselves with small quality adjustments. The main priority was keeping talent and our production crew safe during our shoot. Tory Burch and the Foundation’s marketing team were as graceful as ever though, and made it very easy for us to do our jobs.

The Tory Burch Foundation’s Fellows Announcement was normally an in person event. But during the pandemic, the marketing team had to adapt to new circumstances so they called us for our problem solving skills - how do we create the excitement of being chosen for a fellowship, but from home? Easy, with a nice surprise! From a production perspective however it was anything but easy. How do you coordinate the simultaneous capture of a multitude of people using zoom?!
